In a moment when you have a smart few back issues of magazines, and you could still catch something precious from there, just take your scissors and give it a go!
My wall got through a few changes, so now it is charged with the current inspirations. You could capture a few polaroids of Helmut Newton, whose controversial shots brought a new stage in todays photography. I have always been captivated by the power of feminine, that he was not afraid to show up. Some people might call this style too kinky, even though there is no doubt that Helmut Newton might be considered as a godfather of this A/W season's style. Provocative fetish yet effortlessly chic, we saw many variations of his influence on the catwalk from Louis Vuitton to Emilio Pucci. The women was all about seductive glory with all the shiny leather skirts, golden handcuffs and see-through shimmering surfaces. But lets go back to my mood board. A few retrospective shots of Dolce and Gabbana ad campaign from 90's and my current love affair in the form of Nick Knight, fashion photographer, who could generously manipulate with both classical and digital approaches.
My look on the photos is pulsed with the influence of all of the above. It strikes the balance between sleek, practical and naughty with one of the safest and most timeless colours like black, mixed with smooth red lipstick . And also you could capture my new favourite, cropped faux fur coat that would be a shot of the purest urban chic to this winter.
